We have recently commissioned this hydraulic jacking system to raise the upper body of the P&H Shovels to change slew bearings and other under carriage work on models P&H 4100 Boss P&H 4100 Series A P&H 2800 XP P&H 2800 XP Series B The hydraulic Jacks each have a 565 tonne capacity and an extra long stroke of 1,700mm. The long stroke eliminates the need for multi lifts with packers all in a single lift. The weight of each jack is 2.100 tonne, with a pressure rating of 700 bar. A custom built 560 litre Hydraulic Power Pack with a 7.6kw motor and directional control valves to suit operate the elevation of the hydraulic jacks. The bases-cradles are 1500 diameter at the base and manufactured to house each jack near its full height. The weight of each base-cradle is 2.80 tonne. Each hydraulic jack is fitted with an anti-intensification valve and a safety load lowering valve. All these components are designed and manufactured in our Balcatta (Western Australia) factory.
